heartsaver_cpr

This classroom course teaches basic CPR skills such as performing a head tilt-chin lift and giving compressions and breaths.

The course provides training for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card.

Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

This course is appropriate for anyone who is required by their workplace to perform first aid as part of a workplace emergency response team, as well as for general knowledge for the bystander. If you are, or will be, working directly with  patients as your primary job responsibility (such as: hosptial, nursing facility, hospice, EMS or fire agencies, or similar jobs), do not take this course. Instead, take BLS for Healthcare Providers.

This course is the companion class to HeartSaver® First Aid, and it is recommended these both be taken together.
