I started my career in the fire service as a volunteer at Corona de Tucson Fire. That led to me working Fire and Rescue at motor sport events. We worked the Monster Truck shows at the TCC. The NASCAR races at TRP and Phoenix International Raceway and later working at SIR drag strip. I also worked a couple of seasons working for NHRA in Phoenix. Working with career firefighters in the motor sport field led me to wanting to work as a firefighter/EMT. I started out getting my EMT cert and then my Fire Cert. I started volunteering at Sonoita Fire which led to a full time position. While I was there I reserved at Tubac Fire and Picture Rocks Fire. That led to me getting a full time position at Picture Rocks, where I finished my fire career.
