Although accurate statistics are not available, the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross reported they trained 22 million people in 2011 in life saving skills, most of which undoubtedly included cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training.
Most of these people, like health care workers, school teachers, daycare workers and many more, are legally required to successfully complete CPR training every 2 years.
Historically, outside the health care profession, most CPR training has been offered sporadically by EMT’s, paramedics etc. to supplement their income.
At CPR2U, we believe CPR and First Aid training is too important to be offered on a part time basis. Therefore, we are committed to make CPR and First Aid training readily and easily available to everyone.
